Want to take up running – why not join one of our Beginners groups?

If you’re a beginner interested in taking up running, we offer a programme of ten weekly sessions of up to one-hour led by our UK Athletics-qualified Leaders in Running Fitness.  No previous experience of running is required. We help beginners to learn the basics of running, and we hope that by the end of the programme they will be able to comfortably run 5 kilometres.

The sessions to date have been held early on Saturday mornings, or in the summer early on a weekday evening, but timing is flexible depending on demand and trainer availability.  There is a nominal charge for each session. Membership of Oxted Runners is not required, although we hope that many will want to join the club in due course.
